Do you watch the direction America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it?
Do you believe you do not have a voice?
Do you read the headlines and feel a pit in your stomach?
If you answered yes to these questions, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

When it come to the Constitution and our beloved country, you are the first line of defense. As principle 9 below states: The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. Our elected officials have forgotten this, it is time that we remind those that we have sent to Washington, Austin and our local offices that they represent OUR interests.
The Abilene Texas 912 Project is seeking to restore the principles and values that once made this country the light of the world. We need everyone in Abilene and the Big Country to stand up and become involved in the political process. Read over the 9 principles and 12 values and if you agree with them then join this site and attend the meetings. We meet every other Tuesday at Amanda's Restaurant and Cantina to discuss current local, state and national events, the Constitution and other topics of interest. There are guest speakers and receive group dicounts for various activities. For the next meeting date go to the "Events" tab at the top of this page. Clear your schedule and join us. See you there!
The 9 Principles
-
America is good.
-
I believe in God, and He is the center of my life.
-
I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
-
The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
-
If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
-
I have a right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
-
I work hard for what I have and I will share it with whom I want. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
-
It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my opinion.
-
The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
